Arkely Studio, Herne Bay
Arkley Community Hall and Studio
You hopefully will have seen that our very own rehearsal halls in Arkley Road, Herne Bay are now being used as a community space and performance venue. Our first adventure this year was the Murder Mystery play Sea, Salt & Slaughter, performed in the round, written by Karen Ince and directed by Jasmine Briscoe. Great fun was had by the very talented cast and we had lots of fantastic feedback to say the show and the venue were both excellent.
We are now following up our success with A Slice of Saturday Night, a full on musical with a live band.
Many venues in the area have either closed down and increases in costs, where there is availability, has forced many societies to consider the viability and affordability of doing what they love.
As a charity Herne Bay Musical Theatre own and run the hall in Arkley Road, Herne Bay, so it made so much sense to make the very best use of the space and perform our shows there, providing shows and events for the community to enjoy.
As well as a performance space the hall, kitchen and parking area are all available to hire. We currently have dance schools, yoga classes and a Youth Theatre using the facilities. On a regular basis, adhoc events, like childrens parties, flower arranging and antigue shows, take place.
We are really proud of everything the building has to offer as a community space and even more proud of the competitive hourly rate we charge at. If you would like to find out more about what Arkley has to offer please do get in contact.
Please do tell your friends and family about the hall, we don't want to keep it a secret anymore.
